Page Island Growth Center- A 30 acre Chain of seven Islands in the heart of the Lowcountry, only a 30 minute boat ride from Hilton Head or Savannah. Nestled between the vast wildlife preserves of Palmetto Bluff and the quite marshes of historic Daufuskie Island, Page island is as remote as it is accessible. Windswept trees, white sand flats and marsh covered banks are the setting for your group’s adventure. It may be the abundance of wildlife - from deers to dolphin- or the smell of a Lowcountry oyster roast, or exploring a nearby indian burial grounds that excites you the most. It is different for every visitor, but Page Island has a way of enchanting us all. A truly magical place where one can escape everyday routines and enter a world of new possibilities, ready to explore.

Shelter Cove Marina- One of hilton Head’s largest marinas and shopping districts, Shelter Cove Marina is Team Outside’s operations base and an ideal place to start and end your adventure.

Our Staff- With a combined full-time and part-time staff approaching 50 people, we bring a unique mixture of experience and expertise to our programs, from former corporate executives, to retired educators, professional guides, boat captains, university professors, windsurfing champions, and more, we bring a unique blend of experiences to our programs. All of our staff are certified naturalist, first aid responders and fun-loving people.

Our Fleet- The Lowcountry of South Carolina is a vast expanse of water and marshlands. Hundreds of Islands and inlets make up one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. With our own fleet of over a dozen passenger boats, we are well equipped to take advantage of this amazing setting.

Outside Hilton Head Retail Store- We’ve operated numerous stores on Hilton Head over the years, and our flagship store in the Plaza at Shelter Cove has been outfitting the Lowcountry for the last 25 years. We carry the best in outdoor apparel and gear including: Patagonia, The North Face, Merrill, Teva, Chaco, Exofficio, Marmont, Kelty, Prana, Smith, Wilderness Systems, Native Kayaks, Perception, Werner, Quicksilver and much, much more.
