Children and Teen Adventures
(Offered early June through August 2012)
Outside has conducted youth camps since 1979. We focus on outdoor, experience-based activities that are interactive, educational and instill an appreciation of the natural environment for all campers. Our staff of personable and enthusiastic outdoor educators skillfully lead a variety of camps that are enjoyed summer after summer by local and visiting children alike.

 

Children Water Fun Day
(Ages 7 and up)
3 hours of water-filled fun. Single-day camp held on Friday mornings from 9am to noon.

 

Discovery Days
(Ages 7-10)
This camp for young adventurers combines hands-on investigation with kayaking and assorted water activities like interpretive beach walks, marsh paddles and games. 2-day camp held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to noon.

Eco-Ventures
(Ages 11-14)
Hands-on investigation of coastal ecology combined with kayaking and other water activities for older kids. 2-day camp held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to noon.

 

Adventure Island
(Ages 12-15)
A fun boat ride to remote Page Island is just the beginning. Once there, teens will kayak through tidal marshes and investigate the island's habitat. Other activities may include fishing, crabbing, tubing and games. Awesome hands-on exploration of the coastal environment. Teens should bring a bagged lunch. Wednesday and Friday 8am-1pm.

 

Teen Skim Camp
Learn the basics and build a foundation in the area's fastest growing and most exciting beach sport. Children and teens will learn terminology, choosing the best conditions and how to ride like a pro.

 

Teen Kayak and SUP Camp
Teens can choose to try kayaking or stand up paddleboarding for a day of confidence-boosting, outdoor fun.

 

Teen Tube Night
1 1/2 hours of awesome tubing fun along the South Carolina Lowcountry's most pristine and picturesque waterways.
